Collecting Camelot: The Kennedy Legacy, Part II | Auction Preview | Opens January 27th

On the heels of the success of the Collecting Camelot: The Kennedy Legacy Part I Auction, where many lots far exceeded their estimates, including a standout letter signed by Lee Harvey Oswald’s friend George de Mohrenschildt as covered by CLLCT, we are pleased to announce that Collecting Camelot: The Kennedy Legacy, Part II will open for bidding on January 29, 2026.

Building off the momentum of Part I, this second installment features a carefully curated premium selection of scarce letters, photographs, ephemera, and collectibles from John F. Kennedy’s early life, presidency, assassination, and legacy. The collection includes material not only related to Kennedy himself, but also to his children, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, and the family members and colleagues who shaped the Camelot era.

The timing of this auction is especially meaningful as the nation approaches the 250th anniversary of the United States, a milestone that invites celebration of the individuals who have shaped the American story. Few figures embody that legacy more powerfully than Kennedy. Alongside Abraham Lincoln, he stands as the most highly collected U.S. president and, arguably, one of the most collected historical figures of all time.

Collecting Camelot: The Kennedy Legacy, Part II continues our commitment to presenting Kennedy material with the context, care, and historical respect it deserves, highlighting not only a presidency, but the ideals and moments that continue to define the American experience. From intimate family moments to the historic and tragic headlines that shaped the Kennedy legacy, this upcoming auction offers significant and compelling material for collectors at every level and interest point.
